The HTC One M8 is really suitable for many amazing parts of your life. The M8 is a great successor to last year HTC’s flagship with many improvements and many new features. It runs on latest Android version with Sense UI providing you very fast performance. And if you still want to load some more interesting stuff in the terms of amazing custom ROMs and tweaks, here you can install TWRP recovery on HTC One M8, it is available unofficially.
TWRP recovery is one of best driver for your HTC M8 you can use to take a delicious trip to the ground of custom ROMs. And yes you can use TWRP for many other general Android hacking as well such as wipe, factory reset, nandroid backups and more. It will bring tons of useful functions to your HTC One M8.
It is important to mention here that this TWRP recovery build is still under development and contains a few issue. It will not support external SD card yet but worry not as the developer will hopefully fix all issues soon.
Step #2: Turn off fastboot option on your HTC One M8, go to settings>power or battery and there make sure fast boot option is not checked.

Requirements
- Make sure your HTC One M8 have unlocked bootloader
- Use a Windows PC and make sure USB phone drivers are installed on your computer (use HTC Sync manager for derivers).
- Make sure you have latest Android SDK and Fastboot drivers and device drivers installed on your computer.
- Enable USB debugging on your HTC M8. To enable USB debugging, first navigate to Setting>About Phone, there tap on Build Number many times until developer option is enabled. Then open developer options and there you can enable USB debugging.
- Download HTC One M8 TWRP Recovery from here or check XDA thread for latest version.
How To Install TWRP Recovery on HTC One M8
