How to Enable System-Wide Night Mode on iOS 7 With Eclipse

In this article we will provide you the method to Enabling System-Wide Night Mode on your iOS 7. Eclipse is a free handy jailbreak tweak that brings a system-wide dark mode to iOS 7. The tweak, which are available on Cydia’s BigBoss repo.


Eclipse works on a lot of the resident iOS apps and some 3rd party apps, so Face book, Twitter, Ever note etc. also get an unofficial dark mode! Eclipse brings a “Night mode” to the interface, so all of the bright, white color effects become a mixture of dark greys and blacks, nicely accented by an optional orange tint.
The tweak is supported on the iPhone 5s, and the next update will also include an auto scheduler mode for switching between the night and day modes.

Eclipse is available for just $0.99 from Cydia under the BigBoss repo. Once installed, you need to enable it from Settings > Eclipse.

this is one of the more conspicuous theming tweaks you’re likely to find in Cydia. Also, keep in mind that there’s no iPad support just yet, but we’re sure that will arrive in an upcoming update.
