LG had recently launched the LG G Pro 2 flagship phablet and
it will be soon joined in by the flagship smartphone of the company, LG G3. The
smartphone is expected to be launched later this year in May or June. One of
LG’s official websites has recently listed the User Agent Profile of the LG
D850 which seems to be the model number of the LG G3.
The LG D850 will feature a Quad-HD display which essentially
has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Previous reports have also indicated
towards the fact that the next LG flagship will come shod with a Quad HD screen
and the latest reports suggest the same too.
The smartphone is expected to come in a slew of variants
with model numbers D850, D851 and VS985. The last one is expected to be the one
for Verizon. LG surely has a lot of guns in its armoury to be showcased later
this year.
The rumoured screen size of the LG G3 is 5.5-inches which
would put it in the phablet category as well and will have a pixel density of
534ppi. LG will surely have to pack in a pretty high capacity battery unit in
the smartphone to ensure that it does not die down easily. Some might think its
too much for a 5.5-inch display but for us, the bigger and sharper it is, the
better it is.
In addition to the news, some leaked screenshots said to be
from LG G3's home screen has popped up on the web. The screenshots are in
Quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution, confirming that the upcoming LG
flagship device will come with QHD display
