Nokia X India Is Arriving On March 10, Start With Rs 8,500

Nokia X Android OS based device that was released only last month at the Mobile World Congress, has been covered on an online retailing website in India for a pretty budget-friendly price. Although the Finnish manufacturer has announced that the gadget is slated to be made available in the subcontinent, it had refrained from letting out the exact release date.

We were expecting somewhat lower price-tag, bearing in mind Nokia had announced that it plans to sell the phone at 89 euros (INR 7,630). We are hoping to see an official announcement from Nokia in the next few days, which should make the pricing & availability detail clearer. Till then, we will suggest you to avoid ordering the phone. Also, in our view Nokia X isn’t value for money product for INR 8.5K. It is stating INR 8,500 as the price-tag of the smartphone yet we can’t be certain as Nokia has still not officially revealed the India launch details of the phone. In addition, The Mobile Store has noted that Nokia X will be available beginning March 15. However, the portal has removed these details & has hung a ‘coming soon’ board instead.

Based on the Nokia X software platform 1.0 which is a highly customized version of the Google Android OS, the device in question is compact & offers a multi-touch real estate of 4 inches. A dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor has been chosen for keeping its multitasking properties in check & 512MB of RAM is what you obtain along with it.
