The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 may not be the most famous
ones among the android brigade now but it doesn’t mean they shall be cared
about any less, at least Sprint thinks so. The US carrier has already updated
the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 to android 4.4.2 about a week ago and now they
have acknowledged the other Galaxy devices that shall receive this sweet and
much anticipated android update.

While this might make you happy, there is no specific date
or even a near indication from Sprint at the moment and they declined to
mention when customers might see the updates, instead saying the “exact timing
of the updates will be shared at a later date”. Talking about the features from
android 4.4.2 from the Note 3 and S4 both featured slightly improved UI
with less clutter and more space, and there’s a few other minor visual changes
like white icons in the status bar. KitKat also adds a mode for full screen
apps along with an option for wireless printing enabled. The android version is
also optimized to run on devices with low specs so observing a better
performance shouldn’t come as a surprise.
